The launch of google classroom happened in 2014. This was a great way for teachers to be able to distribute assignments, communicate with students and parents, and provide simple feedback on said assignments.

This law was passed in 2015. It prohibited operators of websites, apps and other online services for kindergartners through 12th graders from knowingly selling students' personal information to third parties.

In 2016, we start to see AI and augmented reality be introduced within the classroom. This provided for immersive and interactive learning experiences.

Cloud platforms enabled sharing of documents, resources, and learning materials, easier than it was previously.

Using games to learn and teach was seen much more often in 2019 in elementary, middle, and high school classes.

Due to the pandemic, we see education technology surge within schools. Schools started using zoom, Microsoft teams, and other forms of virtual meeting in order to continue learning.
