Lived on the Earth 1.6 million to 4 million years ago. The Australopithecus had more ape like characteristics. They climbed trees but did walk on two feet at times. They ate mainly fruit and nuts. -
Homo Habilis
Lived on the Earth 1.4 to 2.3 million years ago. The Homo habilis had more human like features. They all walked upright and on two feet. Their diet consisted of fruit and some meat. They also began using stones as tools. -
Homo Erectus
Lived on the Earth 1.5 million years ago to 200,00. They were the first to start moving out of Africa. Diet was mainly meat. They had their own language and the first to use fire and sofisticated tools. -
Neanderthals
Neanderthals lived on the earth 35,000 to 130,000 years ago. They had mainly human like features. Started using more advanced tools and fire. -
Homo Sapiens and Cro-Magnons
They lived on the Earth 150,000 years ago. They are the most similar to modern humans. They had the most advance language and tools. They had many cave paintings and they spread to Aisa and Europe.
