Dexter has a flashback from his childhood which freaks him out, under his work suit he has on a yellow shirt indicating his caution and sickness from the memory. -

Sporting the yellow towards the end of the season, the ice truck killer is getting more information on him and it is scaring dexter causeing a lot of caution. -
