The Domain Name System(DNS) was created

DNS servers were created, making web addresses more human friendly as compared to the numerical IP value. DNS servers created an easy-to-remember domain name and converted it to an IP address

World wide web protocols finished

The code for the world wide web was written byTim Berners-Lee, based on his proposal the year before along with the standards for HTML, HTTP and URLs
