    Soviet Union made an alliance with U.S, Canada, and Western European nations. The signing of the pact became a symbol of Soviet dominance in Eastern Europe.

    Started in November 1 1955. The fighting was between France and Vietnam. The outcome was U.S joined latter on and they won.

    U.S. and the Soviet Union engaged in a tense, 13-day political and military standoff which was over over the installation of nuclear-armed Soviet missiles on Cuba. In result there was no bombing.
