    The civil war will shape the future of what we know of today the United States. This war had split the country in two turning brother aginst brother father aginst son. This war had many meanings to it one would have been slavery while the other the pure fact of the southern states seceding thus plunging this great nation into war. The war raged on for four Horrifing years causing 620,000casualties and others injured out of a total of 2.4 million soldiers.

    After the civil war with the north as the victors Abraham Lincoln
    approves the 13th amendment. Thus stateing that nether slavery nor involtary servatude will be allowed in the United States or any where in its jurisdiction.

    Brown vs The board of education was a supreme court jury that delt with the discrmitation of african americans in the working places, public places or school. It was a trial that took five years to win the trial.
  • Emmitt Till Murder

    Emmitt Till Murder

He was murdered by two white men who kidnapped Till beat him and shot him in the head. The two white men were judged by an all white court who aquitted them. Thus fueling the fire in the Civil rights movement.
