  • Confucius

    Confucius teaches about ethical values such as honesty, loyalty, and respect for elders. Confucius taught social teachings that focused on proper behavior of a person. He also taught political teachings which focused on the art of the government. Later, his disciples record his teachings in Analects.
  • Lao Tzu

    Lao Tzu

    Lao Tzu is a legendary founder of Taoism and developed teachings of Tao Te Ching. The Tao Te Ching is both philosophical and religious Taoism and influenced a lot of other schools.

    Chuang Tzu

    Zhuang Zhou was an influential Chinese philosopher and made himself well acquainted with all types of literature but preferred the views of Lao Tzu. He wrote the Chuang Tzu that followed Lao Tzu teachings.
