After joining and breaking apart many small religious groups based around the existence of UFO's, Hong-Ming Chen, a former professor of sociology at Chianan College of Pharmacology and Science, founds the Cheo Tao church using a combination of Buddhism, Christianity, and UFO's as its bases -
The Revision
After God failed to appear in person or on TV a third of Cheo´s followers left him and moved back home or applying for a visa to live in the US. Cho then revised his predictions again the following week and moved his group to New York. The group is believed to have fizzled out there and the current whereabouts of Cheo Tao are unknown. -
The Move
This was a huge moment in the following history. Chen profiled that God would come down to Earth in San Dimas, California for which he and all of his followers migrated. -
To Texas
This move was what brought the Cheo Tao religion to light. Cheo became obsessed with the idea that because his last prophecy failed that God was going to appear in Garland, Texas because the name Garland sounded like Godland. He and all of his followers then moved to Garland. -
God on TV
On this day Cheo predicted after his last failed prediction that Gob would appear on channel 18 to announce his coming on the 31st -

Money Gain
In 1999 Chen convinced many of his followers to give him money by telling them it was to buy him passage on shapeshifts disguised as clouds.
