    When Catherine married Peter III she became Russian Royalty. She became a grand duchess. They didn't get along that well, but after a few years she had her first child.

    Catherine had her first born son in 1754 named Paul, after many years of waiting.

    When Elisabeth died, Peter III took the throne making Catherine title of Empress Consort. Had little to do with Peter's rulebecause of his cruelness.

    After Catherine finalized the Nakaz, she brought delegates from a range of social and economic classes to form the Legislative Commision. They met for the first time.
  • 1772 Treaty

    In 1772, Catherine made a treaty that gave parts of Poland to Prussia and Austria. While she got the eastern region.

    Catherine made a peace treaty with the Ottoman Empire which brought her new lands.

    Catherine placed a list of policys for Russia.
  • Battle Begins

    Catherine clashed with the Ottoman Empire again and the two countries battled from 1787 to 1792.

    Catherine the Great died on Nov 17, 1796 from what they think was a stroke.
