Prologue
"Prologue" is a short, cinematic cut-scene featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. It is the continuing clip from the mission "Endgame", from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The mission starts out with Captain John Price and Nikolai trying to extract Soap to a safehouse located in Northern India, while searching for medical help, after killing General Shepherd. The player takes control of John 'Soap' MacTavish. -
Black Tuesday
"Black Tuesday" is the second mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The player takes control of Derek 'Frost' Westbrook, a Delta Force operator in New York. The objective of the mission is to destroy a Russian radio/microwave jammer placed on the Stock Exchange. Once the jammer is destroyed, the player will be extracted by a Black Hawk and must duel against Russian helicopters to reach New York Harbour, the location of the next mission. -
Hunter Killer
"Hunter Killer" is the third mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The player takes on the role of Sgt. Derek 'Frost' Westbrook, as he and his squad infiltrate a Russian Oscar II-class SSGN and launch the submarine's cruise missiles against it's own fleet to cripple it. Later, the player and other team members make their escape from the submarine on Zodiac watercraft as the launched missiles begin to bombard the Russian ships in the area, before escaping in a CH-46 Sea Knight. -
Persona Non Grata
"Persona Non Grata" is the fourth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The player assumes the role of Yuri. This level is set right after "Endgame". The main objective is to evacuate the wounded Soap to Nikolai's chopper. At first they shoot their way towards a weapon cache where Yuri will be operating a UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) which will be used to clear a path a to the helicopter where Yuri is left behind, but eventually gets to the chopper after nearly drowning in a river. -
Turbulence
"Turbulence" is the fifth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The player starts off as Andrei Harkov, an FSO agent, on a plane with the Russian President, Boris Vorshevsky, speaking to his daughter about the peace conference in Hamburg. -
Back On The Grid
"Back On The Grid" is the sixth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The player takes control of Yuri as he, Price, and Soap go in search for cargo belonging to Makarov. -
Davis Family Vacation
"Davis Family Vacation" is the eighth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 that takes place after "Mind The Gap". -
Goalpost
"Goalpost" is the ninth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The level takes place in Hamburg, Germany. The player controls Derek 'Frost' Westbrook throughout this mission. The primary objective is to secure the Vice President from being a hostage. -
Mind The Gap
"Mind The Gap" is the seventh mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The player takes control of Marcus Burns, an SAS Commando in London. -
Return To Sender
"Return To Sender" is the tenth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The player controls Yuri as he, Soap, and Price search for Waraabe, a man involved in distributing the chemical that caused the chemical attacks on Europe. The mission takes place in Somalia. -
Bag And Drag
"Bag And Drag" is the eleventh mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. It involves Frost along with other Delta Force operatives in Paris with the co-operation of the GIGN chasing down Volk, Makarov's bomb maker. -
Iron Lady
"Iron Lady" is the twelfth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. It takes place in Paris, where the player mans the guns of an AC-130, similar to the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare mission "Death From Above". The player toggles between Derek 'Frost' Westbrook and the AC-130 gunner in this mission. -
Eye Of The Storm
"Eye Of The Storm" is the thirteenth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The player controls Yuri as he and Soap stealthily move through Prague as they help the resistance until they get to a tower, where they will provide support for Price in the next mission, "Blood Brothers". -
Blood Brothers
"Blood Brothers" is the fourteenth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This is arguably the most key level as it sees the deaths of John 'Soap' MacTavish and Kamarov. Makarov's involvement is revealed, for example in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, in which Yuri's knowledge of him is known, such as in the missions "One Shot, One Kill", "Shock And Awe", and "No Russian". It also reveals the circumstances of Zakhaev's survival. -
Stronghold
"Stronghold" is the fifteenth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The mission takes place shortly after "Blood Brothers", at a castle near Prague. In this mission the player plays as Yuri. Price and Yuri assault a castle that is and has recently been used by the Russians as an advance firebase. The main objective is to learn the location of Vladimir Makarov. -
Scorched Earth
"Scorched Earth" is the sixteenth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The mision takes place in Berlin, Germany, as Delta Force is assigned to rescue the Russian President's daughter from the impending attack from the Ultranationalists. Delta is supported by a column of German tanks from the Bundeswehr. -
Down The Rabbit Hole
"Down The Rabbit Hole" is the seventeenth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This mission is about Delta Force cooperating with Task Force 141 to save the President of Russia, Boris Vorshevsky, and his daughter from a diamond mine. -
Dust To Dust
"Dust To Dust" is the eighteenth and final mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and is also the final mission of the Modern Warfare series. The player starts out in Juggernaut armour, and takes the role of John Price, attempting to kill Makarov for vengeance.
