    Constantine the Great

    Theodora

    One of the most powerful women in the Byzantine Empire. She was the wife if Justinian I. When Justinian succeeded the throne in 527 she became Augusta. Her name is mentioned in nearly all the laws passed during her period. In the Nika Revolt she convinced Justinian I to stay and save his empire. Theodora was remembered a ruler to recognize the wright of women so there is no more trafficking. Also altering divorcing laws so women would also benefit. She did many more important things.

He asked Russia for aid and in exchange he gave them her sister. he was autocrat he developed war machines and he crushed all rebellions against him and expanded the Empire. His brother became emperor after his death.
