    The FFA became a national organization. a network of teachers guided the establish of FFA as a team effort to establish a club for boys with similar farm interests.

    This was formed (New Farmers of America) for white students to attend.

    FFA became one of a few student organizations to receive a federal charter from congress (Public law 740)

  • The merge

    This was the year that the FFA and NFA decided to merge together.

    The year that girls were allowed in the FFA for the first time.

  • Name change

    This is when the FFA was now called Future Farmers of America to national FFA organization to reflect the growing diversity in the agriculture industry.
