As early as I remember teachers would read to me. My kindergarten teacher and first grade teachers would read stories in class and us children would listen. We enjoyed the stories very much.

The older I got the more we would spend time at school reading independently. We would have quiet reading time and the teacher would ask us to read chapter 2. We would read at our own pace then come back as a class and discuss what happened in that chapter.

    Reading books for college
I now mostly like to read to learn(Non-Fiction) books. I want to always take away something from a book. Not necessarily reading for pleasure anymore.
