    George Kelly is considered one of the most famous gangsters from the 20’s. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on July 18, 1895. His parents were a typical wealthy family who lived uneventful and traditional lifestyles. His trouble first started in college, where he made bad grades, constantly in trouble with the faculty, and had many absences as well. After falling in love and caving kids, he found himself in a dark place, divorced and jobless.

    It was about this time when Kelly took up with a small-time gangster and started a new life as a bootlegger. Kelly began to enjoy the financial rewards of his new trade along with the notoriety. George then met his girlfriend Kathryn, where they did most of their crime together, robbing homes and kidnapping men and putting large ransoms on them. The FBI eventually became involved with trying to find them, and got leads that they were finally back in Memphis.

    On September 26, 1933, Memphis police, along with FBI Agents, surrounded the house they were staying at. The couple was flown to Oklahoma where they stood trial and both received life sentences.

    Al Capone married Mae Josephine Coughlin at age 19, on December 30, 1918. She was Irish Catholic and earlier that month had given birth to their son Albert Capone also known as Sonny Capone.At first Al Capone joined small gangs.He later joins the Brooklyn Rippers, and then the powerful Five Points Gang based in Lower Manhattan.From 1925- 1929 Capone was the most visible mobster in america. He was suspected to be behind the St Valentine's day massacre.

    Capone was convicted of tax invasion and was sent to prison for 11 years.He spent time in cook county jail and alcatraz federal prison. He got syphilis by the time he left alcatraz in 1939 the disease had affected his mental and physical health. Al Capone died of syphilis on January 25, 1947.

    Al Capone was born January 17, 1899 in Brooklyn,New York.His parents were Italian immigrants Gabriele Capone and Teresa Capone.His father was a barber and his mother was a seamstress.He has 8 other siblings.One of his siblings Frank Capone also known Salvatore Capone. Al capone showed promise in school until he hit a female teacher in the face and got expelled.From 1916-1918 he played professional baseball.He was influenced by gangster Johnny Torrio, whom he came to regard as a mentor.

    Pretty Boy Floyd

    Charles Authur Floyd was born february 3rd 1904 in Adairsville, Georgia. He is one of 14 children. His family moved to Akins, Oklahoma in 1911. His first arrest was at 18 for stealing 3.50 at a local post office. He married Ruby Floyd.They had a son named Jack Dempsey Floyd.They suspected him to be a part of the Kansas city massacre which occurred on June 17, 1933 and resulted in a massacre. Local police and FBI agents shot Floyd on October 22, 1934 in a corn field in East Liverpool, Ohio.

    “Bugsy”or Benjamin Siegel was born on February 28, 1906 in Brooklyn,New York. Siegel was raised in the crime-ridden section of Williamsburg where gangs and adult racketeers were main elements of the community. As a kid, he reportedly extorted protection money from pushcart peddlers on the other side of the East River where he befriended Meyer Lansky, who helped establish the Bugs and Meyer Gang. Fellow gang members nicknamed Siegel ‘Bugsy’ in reference to his well known quick and violent temper.

He made deals to bring the race wire to California, helping to distribute important gambling information to and from the West Coast.

On June 20,1947,a burst of gunfire went through Hill’s living room window in Beverly Hills, killing Siegel. Literally minutes later, three associates of Lansky entered the Flamingo and announced that they were in charge.

    He joined a gang in his mid-teens and became its leader. In 1928 he married Helen Wawrzyniak, and they had two children.By the time he met Helen,Nelson was working at a Oil station in his neighborhood which doubled as the headquarters for a group of young tire thieves, known colloquially as "strippers".On January 6, 1930, the associates forced entry into the home of magazine executive Charles M. Richter. On April 21, 1930,He died November 27, 1934.

    Lester Joseph Gillis also known as baby face nelson was born on december 6th 1908.His first arrest was at age 12 he accidentally shot a playmate in the jaw with a pistol he found.He served 1 year in state reformatory.His second arrest was for grand theft auto and joy riding at age 13 he was sent to penal school for 18 months.He was released on April 11th 1924. .

Her father Charles Robert Parker died when she was a year old.Her widowed mother Emma Parker moved her family back to her parents' home in Cement City, an industrial suburb in West Dallas.In her second year of highschool she met Roy Thornton. They dropped out of school and got married on September 25th,1926 six days before her 16th birthday.They never divorced but their paths never crossed again.

Bonnie was helping her friend because she had a broken arm and Clyde stopped by to see her,they believe Bonnie joined Clyde because she had fallen in love.Clyde was sent to a prison farm april 1930 he escaped by a weapon bonnie smuggled in they later captured him again. While he was in there he was repeatedly sexually assaulted by an inmate he smashed his head in with a pipe and a inmate that already was in prison for life took the blame

    On April 19 Bonnie and Ralph Fults were captured in a failed hardware store burglary which they had intended to steal firearms.Parker was released from jail in a few months, after the grand jury failed to indict her.Clydes older brother Buck and his wife later joined the gang in 1933.Clyde's go to weapon was a m1918 Browning automatic rifle.On May 23rd, 1934, Bonnie and Clyde were gunned down in their stolen 1934 Ford Model 730 Deluxe Sedan. They were shot by Frank Hamor.
