Bobby lost his eyesight unexpectedly lost his eyesight at 29 years old. In his first year of law school he was having a difficult time reading the board. Bobby thought it was just from all the reading he had to do but it was much more serious. When he went to the opthamologist they diagnosed him with prolofirative diabetic retinopathy.'' They told me I would be totally blind in a month and I was''. Now sadly Bobby has no vision in his left eye and 20/1200 best-corrected vision in his right eye.

Bobby was good enough to make the U.S. disabled skii team. -
Two years after he made the U.S. disabled skii team he started to encounter symptoms of kidney failure.He tried to avoid the symptoms until he became very ill in the World Championship Games in 1996.He was diagnosed with Kidney failure and dialysis was the treatment he needed." I realized it wasnt like a broken leg where you set it for six weeks later, the cast comes off.He kept going with a positive attitude after he added his name to the transplant list.He also kept active to stay in shape.
