I used a portable CD player Boombox to play the English listening activities to my undergrad students in a Public University in Colombia. Everyone knew what discipline you taught because we, the English teachers, were the only ones walking around the campus carrying a CD player. -
It is a significant event because it was the technology that would keep me connected with my country: family, and friends. -
This is the first time I did not have to create slides and print the pictures out to teach vocabulary lessons, so it saved me planning time. I taught Spanish 102 at West Virginia University.
