    DEATH OF TUTANKHAMUN

    King Tutankhamun died in this year, after only 9 years in power (he died when he was 19 or 18) his death is still a mystery. But the arose a problem Tutankhamun had left no heir.

    Even though Ancient Eygpt is made up on alot of different timelines I chose to focus my timeline on the Tutankhamun stage.

    CHILDREN

    Ankhesenpaaten was pregnant twice, both stillborns (they were mummified and put in Tutankhamun's tomb with him)
  • Jan 1, 1331

    NAME CHANGE

    Tutankhamun changed his name from Tutankhaten to Tutankhamun and Ankhesenpaaten changed her name to Ankhesenamun. They changed their names because of the quickly growing acceptance of the god amun and the quickly declining respect of the god aten.

    TUTANKHAMUN BECOMES PHAROH

    At the age of 9, Tutankhamun became the youngest pharoh ever in ancient eygpt. Being so young still important decisions were left up to his regent and the grand visor Ay.

    MARRIAGE

    In the same year he became king Tutankhamun, became king he married his 13 year old half-sister, Ankhesenpaaten.

    NEW RULER

    Akhenaten's little brother Smenkhkare Ankhetkheperure took the throne after Akhenaten died because Tutankhmun was to young at the age of 7.

    DEATH OF AKHENATEN

    Akhenaten was Tutankhamun's father and after ruling for 17 years Akhenaten was forced to resign, later he died.
