What happened is British army in Boston prepared to march to Concord to seize colonial weapons, arrest leaders like Samuel Adams and John Hancock. Paul Revere, William Dawes, Samuel Prescott, Sons of Liberty Network, British troops, Colonial militias. The outcome British troops failed to seize most weapons. Fighting broke out at Lexington and Concord, starting the American Revolution.

    First battle of American Revolution April 19,1775. After Paul Revere, Colonial militias assembled and at dawn in Lexington face the British and then it started. People involved were British army, colonial militia, patriot leaders. British had about 270 casualties as colonial militias only had about 90.

    Battle was fought on June 17, 1775. Happened on the Charlestown Peninsula across from Boston. Colonial forces fortified Breed's Hill overnight to threaten British position in Boston. British captured Breeds and Bunker Hill but suffered over 1000 deaths. American side and British side involved.

    George Washington and the Continental Army helped Thomas Paine write the pamphlet the first one appeared December 19, 1776. Paine described hardships of the revolution argued it was duty to keep fighting Britain. Reading it rallied Washington's troops before the Battle of Trenton.

    This was an encampment of George Washington's Continental Army during the Revolutionary War, wasn't a battle but important time period. After losing Philadelphia, George chose Valley Forge for its safe location, they built huts and suffered for poor qualities. About 2000 men died from the conditions, Forge became symbol of endurance and transformation in Revolution. 12/19/1777 - 6/19/1778

    Was the last battle of Revolution that was from October 18, 1781 to November 28, 1781. Washington led a combined American-French army to law siege to the British forces at Yorktown. The British surrendered, this effectively ended major fighting in North America.

    Was the last thing in the Revolution to happen, was signed September 3, 1783. After Yorktown British gov. opened peace talks with America and Paris and negotiated separate but similar treatises that took over a year to make. Everyone included were the USA, Britain, France and Spain.
