    The Boston Massacre occurred because an argument between a British soldier and American Colonists escalated, as more colonists gathered. The argument started off with throwing sticks and rocks. When more soldiers showed up with rifles, it made the crowd more aggravated. This caused colonists daring the soldiers to shoot. Eventually they did and 5 colonists were killed.
