    It first started as a street fight but, it went to a fierce fight. This became a bloody and chaotic battle. The British soldiers were trying to enforce Britain's tax laws and the Americans debated that "no taxation without representation". The American colonists and British soldiers were involved in this battle. This is important because it became the signal leading to the Revolutionary War.

    The Boston Tea Party happened because the American colonists were mad at Britain for forcing them the "taxation without representation". They threw away the chests of tea that is stored in the harbor. The people involved were the British Parliament and the American colonists. It is important because they saw the Americans fighting for their independence and would not tolerate taxation.

    Passage of the Intolerable Acts

    This served as a way to deal with the American colonies. They have four acts in Coercive Acts but it became Intolerable Acts because the Americans see it as cruel and severe. The British Parliament was the one involved in this event. This happened because they wanted to have unity among people. It is important because it was created so that the rebellious colonies will be back into place.

    The delegates from the 13 colonies came except Georgia. The people involved in this event were Patrick Henry, George Washington, John and Samuel Adams, John Jay, and John Dickinson. This is important because this balanced the colonies.

    This was a warning to alert the Americans of the dangers ahead. There were four men and one woman involved. There were Paul Revere, Samuel Prescott, Israel Bissell, William Dawes, and Sybil Ludington. This is important because this served as a warning to other people.

    There was a tension between the 13 colonies and the British authorities. The Massachusett colonies defied the British authority and fought them and also earned their independence. The people involved were the Massachusetts colonists and the British Army. This is important because it was the start of the American War of Independence.

    The British won but, they have more casualties. The Americans have proved that they could hold their own against them. Israel Putnam (American) and Thomas Gage (British) were the commanders involved in this battle. It was important because it showed us that the England and American won't be able to reconcile anymore because of the fight they just had.

    This event was about the separation of 13 colonies from Great Britain. They succeeded in having their own independence. Thomas Jefferson was the main person involved and also other people who helped him, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Robert R. Livingston, and Roger Sherman. It is important because it was the colonist's wish to seek independence.

    The American colonies defeated the British army and lifted the patriot morale and had hope for independence. The British army was involved in this battle. This is important because it extended their hope for independence and secured foreign support.
  • Treaty of Paris

    Treaty of Paris

    This was what the American colonists were hoping for. They finally got their own freedom from the superior British arm. The people involved here were Spanish, French, British, and American representatives. This is important because it ended the American Revolutions and the America finally had an independent nation.
