An act imposed by the British Parliament requiring colonist to feed,house, and transport British soldiers who were stationed in their town.Our third amendment keeps this from happening again in a time of war. -

First military act of the American Revolution. Tensions had been high between America and Great Britain for a great deal of time. The battle started as a confrontation, but soon turned violent when the British were put under intense fire. -

A meeting between the delegates of the Thirteen Colonies in America. At the Second Continental Congress it was agreed that a Continental Army would be established. At this meeting the Articles of Confederation and the Declaration of Independence were created. -

British defeated the Americans in Massachusetts. This battle gave colonist's a sense of hope because they inflicted a multitude of casualties among their enemy. -
Olive Branch Petition
The final attempt by the colonist to avoid war with Great Britain. The colonist were pledging their loyalty to British Parliament but King George III refused to read it and deemed the colonist traitors. -

The Chesapeake Raid was a campaign that was carried out by British naval forces. This raid caught the Chesapeake bay inhabitants by surprise which lead to barley any resistance. This raid by the British destroyed very important economical supplies. -

General George Washington beings the battle against British General Lord Charles Cornwallis on September 28th. After three weeks of non stop fighting day and night, Cornwallis surrendered to Washington. -
