    The Quartering Act of 1765 stated that all colonists within America (except Pennsylvania) must supply lodging and food for the British soldiers. If there were not enough housing avaliable, the soldiers would be housed in other avaliable areas such as stables, ale houses, and cellars.

    The Tea Act was passed by the Parliament of Great Britain. It was made to reduce the amount of tea in the British East India Company. This company was fanancially troubled. The Act allowed the East India Company to ship it's tea to America directly.

    The Boston Tea Party was in reaction to the Tea Act. Samuel Adams led a team of 50 men to some British ships that had just brought tea to America and had them dump the tea overboard. There were 342 chests of tea split open and filling the harbor.

    This Act was an amendment to the Quartering act of 1765. It was known by the colonists as one of the Intolerable Acts. The new Quartering Act allowed a govenor to house the soldiers in other types of shelter, if suitable living conditions could not be provided.

    The battle of bunker hill took place on June 17, 1775. The battle occured on and around Breed's Hill early in the American Revolutionary War. The battle is named after the adjacent Bunker Hill, which was involved in the battle and was the original objective of both sides.
