    Melendres vs. Arpaio is the first of many lawsuits against the Arizona sheriff acused of his department executing racial profiling tactics of Mexicans. It was said that Melendres was illegally detained for 9 hours in what he thought was racial profiling him as being illegal.

    This bill was created to give illegal immigrants who came to the Country as minors to be able to be given tempory citizenship on good merit and if they have completed their high school education here in the USA. Another part of the bill would give extended citizenship for those who complete a 4 year or high degree or serve in th Military.

    Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer signs sb 1070 bill requiring immigrants in Arizona for more then 30 days will have to have proper documnetation at all times. Failure of doing this would result in a misdemeanor charge. This bill sparked out rage through out the entire Country and has been subject to much controversy.
