This is the bus that Rosa Parks was on and what started the Bus Boycott. Blacks were supposed to sit at the back of the bus and they were required to move from the seat to make room for whites. The Bus Boycott started when Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat to a white man. The bus boycott ended on the 20th of December 1956
