Albert Einstein being born
Albert Einstein in ulm, Germany. His religion is Jewish and he was born into a family where they were all tradesmiths and small buisness owners. His parents names were Hermann and Pauline Einstein. Hermann Einstein's business failed and he moved his family to Munich to start a new electric business with his brother. While in Munich Albert's sister Maja was born in 1881. Albert adored his sister and they had a close relationship their whole lives. -
Einstein receives his degree
To be able to study at the Swiss Polytechnic in Zurich also without A-levels, Albert Einstein had to take a college entrance exam in October 1895. His performance in physics and mathematics was excellent. The performances in some of the other tested areas however were not sufficient. Subsequently he followed the advice the director of the Zurich University gave him and went to a school in Aarau and successfully passed. (Dank16) -
Einstein receives his first job

Einstein get's married
Albert Einstein married Milevva Maric. During their marriage they had two sons. Their marriage was a very unhappy one, where they did not get along and had many disagreements. After six years of marriage, they got divorced in 1919. (Dank 25) -
Einstein publishes papers
In 1905 Einstein simultaneously publishes four papers that changed our view of the world forever. Paper one talks about when you look at a mixture of dust and water under a microscope each particle doesn't stop moving. He proved that that if the particle was to be bombarded on all sides by water molecules it would change. This paper helped convince scientists about the existance of atoms and molecules. Paper two dealt with with electrons that come out of a metal plate when light shines on it. -
Einstein publishes papers continued
The unsettled problem of how light could both be a wave and a particle later returned to bother Einstein. Paper three dealt with the way of finding the size of molecules and is the least important paper of the four. The last paper was "Special heory of Relativity", it talks about how the speed of light is 186,000 miles per second, and that time is a constantly flowing river. that is independent of the speed of the observer.(Dank pg 29-30) -
Einstein expands the special theory of relativity
Einstein published another article expanding on the 1907 article. There, He used special relativity to see that the rate of clocks at the top of a box accelerating upward would be faster than the rate of clocks at the bottom. He concludes that the rates of clocks depend on their position in a gravatati of Scienceonal field, and that the difference in rate is proportional to the gravatational pull. World War 1 Begins
World War I was also known as the First World War, a global war centred in Europe that began on 28 July 1914 and lasted until 11 November 1918. In America it was initially called the European War. More than 9 million combatants were killed. The was ened with a allied victory. It was the end of the German, Russian, Ottoman, and Austro-Hungarian empires and was formation of new countries in Europe and Middle East. (Grun) -
Einstein Publishing of "Theory of Relativity"
This was the final form of the general theory of relativity. The first form Einstein published in 1905 about special theory. The parts of relativity are special and general. General relativity has to do with gravity while special is about spacetime.This was his final copy where his theories were accepted into science in1920. -
Einstein recieves Noble Prize
Albert Einstein was awarded the Nobel Price for physics in 1921. He recieved the price "for his merits concerning theoretical physics, especially for his discovery of the law of photoelectric effect". Einstein was not awarded the Nobel Price for the theory of relativity. (Albert Einstein) -

On October 24th, 1929, wall street crashed which killed the stocks and economy of the U.S.This event was the most devasting stock market crash in the history of the United States, when taking into consideration the full extent and duration of its fallout. Hitler comes to power
This was a terrible day for the world when hitler came to power in Germany. He was a brutal leader who tried to take over Europe. He killed Jews because he believed that they weren't normal. Hitler believed a normal person was tall, had blue eyes, and blonde hair. Hitler sent Jews to concentration camps where they were tortured and killed. Hitler dies
Hitler committed suicide. Hitler and his wife were stored in their safety bunker, they took cyanide capsules to die but for good measure Hitler shot himself with his pistol. The reason for this was he was on the edge of surrender. He heard Russia was only a few days away from getting to him. (Adolf Hitler) -
Death of Einstein
Albert Einstein died in Princeton, New Jersey at the age of 76.Einstein died from an occurance in his body called aneurysm, an enlargement of the abdominal artery filled with blood, which had been diagnosed earlier, had burst. He bled to death internally.(Albert Einstein)
