    Pearl harbor was attack less than 2 hours. It also swepted out most of our navy.

    The Battle of Midway happen by Central Pacific island of Midway. And It acually happened June 4-7.

  • The Battle of Stalingrad

    Some people thik that the Battle of Stalingrad was the turning point of the war in Europe. The battle was between Germany and Russsia

  • D Day

    It was the day that America invaded Allies. Gen. Eisenhower the supreme commander yelled to his troops "Let her rip!'

  • Allies Liberate (Free) Paris

    Nazis surrendered to Paris, France allies. German then paraded through France.

  • Battle of Bulge

    Hitler had a plan and that was to attack using three armies againist the allies. which he thought was a great Idea

  • Battle of Iwo Jima

    30,000 United Stated Marines landed on the island and the battle began. America won this Battle.

  • FDR Dies, Truman Becomes President

    FDr died from Cerebral Hemorrhage. Which means he died from a stroke that was caused by bleeding in the brain

  • Hitler Commits Suicide

    Adolf Hitler Commited suicide by taking a Cyanide capsule and then shoot himself in the head. Sortly after his death Germany surrendered to there allies forces

  • VE Day

    VE Day stands for Victory in Europe. That is when Germany surrend.

  • Atomic Bomb Dropped on Hiroshima

    Early morning on August 6, 1945 a bomb called "Little boy" dropped.it was a B-29 bomber.

  • Atomic Bomb dropped on Nagaski

    The bomb was named the Plutonium Bomb but it was nickname "Fat Man". Truman said he wanted to bomb them as soon as the bombs were made and ready.

    V-J day stands for Victory over Japan Day. It was called that because Japan surrender over there allies.
