    What did it do?
    - The Act required that railroad rates be reasonable and just but did not empower the government to fix specific rates. It also required that railroads publicize shipping rates and prohibited discrimination against smaller markets

    What did it do?
    - required that Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approval be obtained by a holding company prior to engaging in a non-utility business and that such businesses be kept separate from the regulated business(es).

    - raised U.S taxes on higher income levels, gifts, estates and corporations by introducing the "Wealth Tax"
    What did it do?
    - It was a new graduated tax that took up to 75 percent of the highest incomes in taxes
