    the MIA (led by their president, Martin Luther King Jr.) made a list of demands in order to end the boycott. They demanded courteous treatment from the bus driver, first come first serve seating, and black bus drivers on predominantly black route.

    The Montgomery Bus Boycott was completely essential to the civil rights movement. It gave rise to one of the most significant figures in history: Martin Luther King Jr. He organized the peaceful protest and won what was necessary, making an example that people could fight peacefully, for more groups to come. The event ended segregation through supreme court decsions. The civil rights movement was kicked off with the descsion. Everyone was inspired that they could fight without combat.
