President Ronald Reagan elceted Sandra Day O'Connor as the first women to be in the US Supreme Court! Sandra O'Connor was confirmed by the U.S. Senate with a vote of 99–0. In her first year on the Court she received over 60,000 letters from the public, more than any other justice in history. After almost 25 years of her serving the Court she retire by 2006. -
1st Women Astronaut.
Sally K. Ride was the 1st woman to be go in space and the youngest one too! Also,Sally was the first woman to use the robot arm in space and the first to use the arm to retrieve a satellite. Her second space flight was in 1984. She had spent more than 343 hours in space. Sally Ride completed eight months of training for her third flight when the Space Shuttle Challenger accident occurred. Sally Ride has proved America that women can also be sussessful in everything they do. -

Christa was chosen to go up in space,she was a school teacher. This made a big moment in the U.S history!
