On September 11th, 200 four passenger planes are hijacked. Three of the planes flew into major U.S. buildings; both towers of the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon building in Washington, D.C. The fourth plane, people believe was headed to the White House. However, passengers on board were able to fight back and take control of the plane and crashed it in Somerset Country, Pennsylvania. Around 3,000 total people died from all of the attacks on 9/11.
