    One of the worst wars in America was over as Germany and the Axis powers surrened to the Allies. After the Axis powers surrened the Allies started to celebrate.

    This was when the segration between schools started to begin in America. Brown Argued that segration in schools between African American and white students needs to stop. He won his case.

    Rosa Parks Incident
    Rosa Parks was arresed after she refused to give up her seat on a bus to a white man. After she was arrested the bus boycott in Montogmery began trying to end segration on buses. This worked as the blacks were allowed to sit where every they wanted on a bus

    After Rosa Parks got arrested the bus boycott began in Montgomery. This continued untill the segration on buses ended.
  • Little Rock Nine Incident

    Little Rock Nine Incident
    This is when they started to put African Americans and Whites in the same school. Many white were not happy about this action. This was the first way to try and segrate schools.

    This was the first satellite launched by U.S.S.R. This was disappointed. to America because we were so close to launching our first satellite before U.S.S.R.

    This happened when the Soviet Union shot down an American Pilot. This cause an outrage in America.

    The Bay of Pigs Invasion was to try and gain control of Cuba. The country had become communist and America was trying to make change their type of governement. They invaded Cuba trying to over throw their government.
