    First patented in the united states by Lucien B. Smith. Barbed wire was a very inexpensive perimeter fencing that could be used and applied by even the most inexperenced person.
  • Air brakes

    Panented by George Westinghouse it was a new safer way of stopping a locamotive back then. Faster then the original slowly cranking the brakes taking 6 miles to stop the train. it revolutionized the industry.

    Invented by Sir Hiram Maxim of Great Britain. This was a major turning point in warfare as world war 1 was right around the corner. The 450-600 rounds per minute was enabled by the recoil of the last shot cocking the weapon for the next bullet and so on. It as bulky and often took 7 men to take care of it.
