    Zilda Arns life
    was born in Forquilhinha, Santa Catarina, on August 25, 1934. Daughter of Gabriel Arns and Helena Steinar Arns, sister of Dom Paulo Evaristo Arns, archbishop emeritus of São Paulo. He married at the age of 21 with the carpenter Aloysio Neumann, with whom he had six children, Marcelo, deceased soon after his birth, Rubens (Veterinarian), Nelson (Doctor), Heloísa (Psychologist), Rogério (Business Administrator) and Silvia (Business Administrator), who died in 2003 in a car accident.
