This victorious day was the mark of the day that Germany surrendered to the Allies.Germany lost more than 8,000 soldiers.Germany surrendered on the Channel Island of Sark.The German surrender was realized in a final cease-fire. -
Dropping of the Atomic Bombs
August 6,1945,the U.S. dropped an atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima,killing around 80,000 civilians.The next day another bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, killing,40,000 more people.At least 129,000 people lost their lives because of the impact,explosion,and radiation of so said bomb.The U.S. warned Japan to stop,but they didn't so America launched the bombs as another warning to stop.The droppings of the atomic bomb were supposed to send a message saying,quit now. -

The victory over Japan,a glorious day which represented like said in the name itself,victory over Japan.This day was a spontanious celebrated day throught the Allied nations.The surrender ceromony was celebrated and the signing of the peace treaty was signed on September 2,1945.The formal surrender ceremony was performed in Tokyo Bay,Japan,aboard the battleship USS Missouri.
