  • Shoah

    The Shoah or also known as the Holocaust was the mass murder of six million Jews during World War II. Jews did not want to call this the holocaust so they named it the Shoah.

    Invasion of Poland started with Blitzkrieg by Germany.

  • Pearl harbor

    The Japanese attack Pearl Harbor on Dec 7th 1941 this got America involved in WWII

  • The Japanese Interment

    This was Japanese Americans being held against thier will in camps because of the war between the U.S. and Japan. President Roosevelt in 1942 gave the order to open these camps and ended in the March of 1946.

  • Operation overlord

    OPeration overlord or the Battle of Normandy pushed Germany forces on two fronts and this made them weak.

  • The U.N.

    The U.N. was created to solve conflicts between nations.

  • First Bomb

    Little boy was a type of atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima Japan

  • Second Bomb

    Fat Man was the other bomb that exploded over Japan but this time Americans dropped it on the city of Nagasaki

  • Nuremberg

    After the war the Nazi's were carged with many crimes. They were held by the Allied forces. This trials were held in Germany.

  • Zionism

    Zionism was a movement for protecting Jews in Palestine. It created Israel and a home for the jews.
