Japanese invasion of china
Japan attacked China, troops from both side of the frontier started fighting each other. The whole north side of the china was being slowly taken over. Most of the cities were captured also the ports they had. The biggest attack that occured was when the japanese troops killed 300,000 civilians. They also raped 80,000 chinese women. -
German Blitzkrieg
Blitzkrieg is a german word for "lightening war". It's using disorganization among enemy forces while using mobile forces and locally concentrated firepower. This tactic was being a good tactic for 2 years. They used planes, artillery, and tanks. The first time using this tactic was in Poland. Germany's invasion of Poland
Hitler overall goal was to take over Poland which made him think he would get assurance with the soviets. Hitler wanted to gain control of everything. Poland became a whole place again and became the Soviet Union in the 20's. Britain and France tried to talk to hitler to make peace with Poland so there wouldn't be any wars. Operation Barbarrossa
was a plan for Germany to invade the Soviet Union. The plan was that they would use a surprise atrack on the Soviet Union. They wanted to capture the capital of Moscow in little more than eight weeks. After the eight weeks have past they were just ouside of Moscow. Pearl Harbor
japanese planes attacked at Pearl Harbor which is a naval base which also is near honolulu, Hawaii. Many people died during the attack. The day after the attack President Franklin D. Roosevelt declared war with Japan. Days later Japanese allies (Germany, Italy) declared war agaisnt the US. Finally after two years of fighting the US joined WWll. -
Wannsee Conference
It was a conference about to go get rid of the Jews. They just wanted to transport the jews to poland and put them into concentration camps. They never said they wanted to exterminate them but that was the plan they were coming up with. Months later they came up with using gas vans to kill all the jew they can get. -

British bombers atacked Germany. More than 1,500 Germans died that day. Britain only lost 12 air crafts which they had about 790 in the air. -

The final japanese stand of where wwll happened. Japanese held a good fight but in the end they didn't win the battle. Amercian soldiers won the battle so they took over the islands. -
