A few days after Germany invaded Poland, Presdint Roosevelt told the world and his fellow allies that the US would remain neutral in this war in fear of a repeat of World War 1. Ironically which was called the war to end all wars.

President Roosevelt decides to help his begging allies England by signing the act to send supplies and money.

After many peace talks and coded messages the Empire of Japan invades Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Crippling the US naval forces.

President Rosevelt immediately takes action and convinces Congress to declare war on Japan, officially entering the US into WW2.

One of the many battles fought in the Pacific theater of WW2. Lasted for 4 days. American Victory. Considered the turning point of the Pacific Theater.

This campaign started in august of 1942 and contiued til february 1943. One of the many battles fought in the Pacific. This campaign had a significant amount of combined armed forces.

This battle was part of the European Theater. it lasted from December !6 1944- January 25 1945. A brutal German campagin but Allies victory. Named the Bulge because of the way Allies front line bulged inward on wartime maps

Another very important battle in the Pacific Theater. The iconic picture of the flag being raised was taken after this battle. That picture actually staged. This battle lasted 5 week and some of the fiercest and bloodiest fighting occured.
