Battle of Britian
A battle between Britian and Germany happened between July and October 1940 in the British Isles. The battle happened because Germany tried to win over air speriority by trying to destorying Britian air force. Germany also wanted to take over Britian.Brittian had won this war so the allies gained confidence. -

On June 22nd 1941 Germany invaded the soviet Union (Russia) because Hitler wanted more living space in the east and he also wanted oil which there was alot their. Pearl Harbor
On december 7th 1941 Japan decided to bomb the US in Oahu Hawaiii. About 2,400 people died, two battle ships were destroyed, many planes were and regular ships were destroyed. The Japanese decided to do this because the US had stopped trading with Japan and frose all the assets of Japan in US banks. The outcome of this bombing was that US declared war on Japan and the US joined World War II -
Bataan Death March
On April 9th 1942 a death march happened. The people involved were Filopino, America and Japan. People were Brutaly killed on a march to a Japan old Training camp. General ordered to move his command from Philopeans to Austria and left thoughsands of philopean and American troops behind and the Japanee put them in camps. The outcome of te Bataan Death March were many people were scared for life or brutaly illed or hurt -
Operation Overlord
On june 6th 1944 in France allies from a diffrent country imvaded France. They did this because they wanted to end World War II and to end Nazi demnation in Europe. The outcome of all this was that Nazis lost contol in more Europe countries. -
Battle of the Buldge
On December 16th 1944 through January 25th 1945 the US, Germany and the United Kingdome were in a battle because Germany wanted to regain territory. This all happened in Nazi Germany and Belguim. It happened because they wanted to regain territory and it also split allie line and forced negotiated peace. This was Hitlers last significant offense. -
Yalta Confrence
On February 4th throught the 11th 1945 a confrence between US, the United Kingdome and the Soviet Union took place. In the confrence they agrred on setting the plans for postwar Europe. Stalin agreed to enter the war against Japan 3 months after Victory in Europe. The confrence was to discuse the reestablishment of the nataions of war torn. In the end church Hill Rosevelt and Stalin agreed to form a united nations and Stalin agreed to enter war in japan when Germany was defeated. -
Battle of Iwo Jima
From Febuary 19th through March 26th 1945 the battle of Iwo Jima took place. What had happened was the Japanese Empire and the US Armed Forces were in a battle. The US Armed Forces fought for and captured the island Iwo Jima from the Japanese Empire. The US wanted to capture Iwo Jima because the Japanese were using Iwo Jima as a base to launch air attacks on the US so they wanted to take it over to ruin there base camp so they wouldnt send out air atacks. The US won over Iwo Jima in the end. -
V-E Day
On may 8th 1945 Germany surrendered. This happpened between Germany and the Allies in Europe and the US and all this happened because Germany surrendered and it ended the war in Europe -
Dropping the Atomic Bomb
On August 6th and 9th 1945 two atomic bombs were put on Japan. This was between the US and Japan in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. In Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs were let off. The bomb in Hiroshima was called little boy and was let off on August 6th. In Nagasaki the bomb was let off on august 9th and it was called Fat Man. The US did this because they wanted the war to end which it did wor because the war in Japan ended because of the bombs. -
V-J Day
On August 14th 1945 in New York City they celebrated victory over Japan and the ending of World War II! they Celebrated bombing Japan and wining which ended the war.
