    It was a major naval battle between the Japanese and the US naval and air force. Both sides ended up doing good damage to each side but it knocked them both down so fast they both retreated and Japan stopped the surprise invasion.

    This was a major naval battle between the US and Japanese and it was major because they made their aircraft carriers unrepairable. With US being more industrialized the little damage they did get was able to bounce back instantly compared to japan who couldn't reproduce things as fast.

    The Battle of El Alamein took place near the Egyptian railway halt of El Alamein. The First Battle of El Alamein had prevented the Axis powers from advancing further into Egypt.
