    Like many early philosophers, William of Ockham had many things he studied, but he was probably best known for Occam’s Razor. The idea behind the principle is that between two options or theories the simpler one is most like the correct one. His argument was, “Entities should not be multiplied beyond necessity.” (IEP, 2015)
