Changing Life.
At the age of 15 Bill Gates and Paul Allen both found a company named Micro Instrumentation and Telemetry Systems (MITS) who invented the Altair 8800 minicomputer kit. They contacted the company proclaiming they were working on a BASIC software program that would run the Altair computer. Allen traveled to Albuquerque for a test run at MITS, never having tried it out on an Altair computer. It worked perfectly.
