The Birth of the Father of Matrix Mechanics
Werner Heisenberg was born in Wurzburg, Germany on, December 5th of the year 1901. He was born to father Kaspar Heisenberg, who was an academic, and mother Annie Wecklein. -
Created the Uncertainty Principle
One of Heisenberg's most celebrated accomplishments was his contribution to physics with his uncertainty principle. It is a principle that stated that you cannot measure both the position and momentum of an electron with precision. Heisenberg stated, ‘‘The more precisely we determine the position, the more imprecise is the determination of momentum in this instant and
vice versa.’’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vc-Uvp3vwg -
Nobel Prize in Physics Winner 1932
Heisenberg was awarded the 1932 Nobel Prize for his creation of quantum mechanics. The creation of quantum mechanics led to the discovery of multiple forms of the element hydrogen.

Involvement in Germany's Atomic bomb Research
Heisenberg was a the leader and main contributor of the German atomic program during WWII. He met with Niels Bohr his former mentor in 1941 to discuss the morality of an atomic bomb. Heisenberg released some information which may have been a warning.

Captured by American Military Intelligence Team
In January 1945, Heisenberg visited his families faction home in Bavaria to be questioned about involvement with atomic bombs. He later was proven to not have a clear sense of the bomb design but interned with other German physicists to solve many of the problems in the following days.
