Katherine Mee was Benjamin Mees late wife. Her death was brought to attention when Dylan, Benjamins son, was talking about his grades. Dylan states, "Dad, nobody's gonna give an F to a kid whose mom died 6 months ago.". Benjamin can be seen reacting to what Dylan said in the picture provided. -
Following quitting his job, Benjamin gets a call from Dylan's school asking him to come down and talk. Upon arriving, Benjamin is told that Dylan stole money from the cafeteria and will be expelled. -

Benjamin Mee went out to lunch with his brother when he informed him about the move. His brother encouraged him to explore but told him, "Stop just before zebras get involved."

Walter Harris unexpectedly visits the Rosemoor for an inspection and leaves Benjamin with a long list of necessary repairs. -
Following Walters visit, the staff had plenty of changes to make. They began working day and night through rain and shine in order ot open the Rosemoor. -

Although Benjamins wife had passed away, she still managed to show her love for him by leaving him an envelope full of money. This money was just enough for Benjamin to carryout on his plan to open the Rosemoor.

After all of the adventures Benjamin had experienced in his life, nothing could have prepared him for this one. Benjamin, his family, and his staff all faced many challenges trying to open the Rosemoor, but they continued to overcome those challenges and they succesfully opened the zoo.
