  • People Can Vote

    Right to vote is granted to only white male property owners.
  • Power given to States

    States can make their own laws on who can vote.
  • Expanding the voters

    All white males can vote now in every state.
  • 15th amendment

    Vote cannot be denied because of race.
  • Dawes Act passed

    It lets Native Americans vote if they give up their tribal affiliations. If the Native Americans assimilate they can vote.
  • 19th amendment

    Women have the right to vote now.
  • All Native Americans can Vote

    All legal barriers in every state our stripped so that Native Americans can vote.
  • 23rd Amendment

    Gives all citizen of Washington D.C. the right to vote.
  • 24th Amendment

    No poll tax to vote.
  • Voting Rights Act Passes

    This makes it where states can not restrict their citizens by imposing discriminatory restrictions.
  • 26th Amendment

    The age to vote is lowered from 21 to 18.
