The 13th Amendment
The 13th amendment abolishes slavery, and that makes people go agaisnt it if they think the opposite. This leads to increased voting rights, because there are going to be a lot of people that go against it or go for it and they're going to state their side It is very important, because people should have equal rights and slavery doesn't follow that, it should stop. -
The 15th Amendment
This event cause people to protest against minority males being able to vote, because people think differently and won't agree to this law. This event is very important because it's causing protesters to agrue and it's also giving a huge right to males. -
Laws to take voting rights from African-Americans
This event leads to other event because it could be also known as racism and that is a huge deal. This event causes voting rights to increase because there are a lot of people who are against racism and they will protest for African-Americans to have their equal rights. This issue is important because it's not right to have a certain amount of people not being able to vote when everyone has equal rights. -
19th Amendment
This event leads to another event because womens rights are jest like mens rights. The 19th amendment states that women should have just as much as rights as men do when it comes to voting. the 19th Amendment is important because it protects all women rights. -
24th amendment
The 24th amendment states that, voting should not be costing, it shouldn't be paid for. 24th Amendment causes voting rights to increase because there will be some people that disagre and srgue against this law. -
Freedom Summer
Freedom Summer gives African-Americans in Mississippi the right to vote. Freedom summer lead to increased voting rights because its kind of like giving African-Americans the right to vote that happened in 1896. -
Voting rights act
Voting rights act leads to racism because it states that there should not be bans of racial and ethnic discrimination in elections. Voting rights act lead to increased voting rights because it's stating that everyone should have the right to vote and not be treated differently.
