This event leads to the Supreme Court ruling literacy tests unconsitutional because you can't expect someone to write your opinion of a section of the constitution and theen say their opnion is wrong. They are entitled to their own opinion. -
Supreme Cort declares "Grandfather Clause" unconstitutional

This event leads to th Voting Rights Act because it is one step closer to getting everyone the same rights. Including women and African Americans. -
Supreme Court rules poll taxes are unconsitutional

This is important because it outlaws people from descriminating against money and how much you have of it. Mostly because not everyone has money to pay taxes before voting. -
Freedom Summer
This event leads to the signing of the equal voting rights of everyone because it gets attention from everyone. More people start to help bring equal rights to everyone no matter of race or gender. -
Voting Rights Act
This is important because it rules out all decrimination against anything and gives everyon the right to vote. It starts the next step of equal rights.
