    This island had a very vital airbase that could help the americans make bomb raids across the Japanese controlled islands.This battle was the most costly with around 50,000 casualties.

    Hitler was now physically weak from having drugs and bad dreams that turned him mad. Hitler and his close associates committed suicide.

    Once the U.S tested there new weapon, it was time to put it into action. At 8:15 on August 6, U.S pilots dropped the bomb over Hiroshima and killed more then 60,000 residents.
