Conner's parents sign the Unwind paper
Conner was looking for a stapler in his dads office when he found tickets for a vacation. However, there were only three tickets and four of them. Once he had searched around more, he found the unwind papers with his name on it. His parents had signed it and had already sent it in, meaning sometime soon Juvey cops were going to come and take him away. Because of this he ran away from home to survive. -
Risa gets news of his unwinding
Risa was a state ward, meaning she was property of the government. She had played concert piano and had mostly successfully played one of the hardest pieces. She had become as successful as possible. They thought that she was not going to advance any more in life so she was ready to be unwound. She had gotten on the bus and was heading to a harvest camp. -
Lev has a Tithing Party
Lev is something called a Tithe. They believe that they are on earth to be unwound so that others can use their body parts because they need them more. At Lev's party, his brother came in and started yelling. He didn't agree with Tithing. After Lev's party, they were ready to take him to be unwound. When they did however, something terrible happened. -
Connor Causes an Accident on the Freeway
Connor was being chased by cops and he fled. He caused cars to crash into each other and the bus that Risa was on crashed. Risa ran into the forest. Connor find Lev and takes him because he causes Lev's car crash. He takes up because he realizes that Lev is an unwind too and he wants to help him. Lev doesn't go willingly but then he got shot by a tranq dart and Connor took him, running towards the forest. -
Risa Pretends to be a School Girl
Risa Pretends to be from a school that is collecting food and clothes. Risa goes to a house and gets some food and clothes. She brings them back to Connor and Lev, who change. -
Connor, Lev and Risa meet in the forest.
Risa had run into the forest after Conner caused the accident on the freeway. Conner had followed the path that Risa had made as she ran through the grass. Risa and Connor decided to team up and they tied Lev up to a tree. They made him Scream for help, which caught the attention of a Juvey Cop. When the cop came though, Risa and Connor had jumped him and shot him with his own tranq gun. -
Connor saves a storked baby
Connor sees a baby laying on a doorstep. He runs because he has a memory about how his family got storked once and they storked the baby got passed around and eventually died. He reached for the baby as the mom had come and she made him keep the baby because it was the law. -
Connor, Lev, and Risa go to a school
Connor, Lev and Risa go to a school to avoid a cop. The cop might have been suspicious. They run into the bathroom and hide there. The baby was quiet for now. They were able to hide, until Connor and Risa realized that Lev was gone. -
Lev Snitches
Lev had run away from Connor and Risa while in the bathroom stalls. He ran and went to the office to get somebody to call for help so he could continue his path to the harvest camp. He then realized that Connor and Risa had become his actual friends and he decided to pull the fire alarm. -
A Teacher finds Connor, Risa, and Dee Dee.
A teacher passes the science lab to evacuate the school due to a fire alarm. She hears a baby in there so she goes in. She finds Connor and Risa. Something in her tells her that they need help and she helps them. She takes the baby from them and helps them get past the police officers at the exit. Once they are safe she tells them to go to a person named Sonia. She helped them because she wanted to be a role model for something good, not something bad.
