On June 16, 1971 Lesane Parish Crooks was born. He was born in Harlem. But when he turned 1 years old his mother renamed him Tupac Amaru Shakur after an Inca meaning "shining serpant."

At the age of 12 Tupac's mother Afeni enrolled him in the 127th Street Ensemble, a Harlem Theater group. There he had his first performance as Travis in the play "A Raisin In the Sun."

Tupac later was moved to Baltimore where he was enrolled in Baltimore School of the Arts. There he studied ballet and acting. While attending he also created his first rap.

Tupac joins Digital Underground as a rodle, dancer, and rapper. He also then finds out his mother was doing drugs while on tour.

Tupac releaseshed first debute solo album 2PACALYPSE NOW. Soon after he launches a $10 million lawsuit against Oakland police for alleged brutality following his arrest for jaywalking.
