The Royal Proclamation was made to prevent westard expansion as they feared a series of Indian Wars and wanted control of current colonist settlements. The Royal Proclamation ended up restricting westward expansion. The colonists saw this as the British disregarding their rights as they couldn't even enforce it properly.

The Act was made so the British could pay off their debts and help their empire build up slowly but was also to help reduce smuggling of the commodity. The Act outlawed the importation of foreign Rum and put a normal tax on molasses from all sources but also removed taxes from wines, silks and coffee. The Colonists reacted by having protests and creating the solgan of "No taxation without repersentation."

The British passed the act as they didn't want to take the colonists paper dollars as they wanted only British currency. The Act made is so that merchants could only pay with British currency and this caused immense stress on merchants as money was scarce. The Colonists reacted by protesting even more to this act.

The Stamp Act was made to supposedly protect the colonists with the payments from the tax. The Stamp Act placed stamps upon any piece of paper like newspaper, cards, and legal documents. The Stamp Act was shown hostilty by the colonists as they began to sharply stop trade with Great Britain and they had a "Stamp Act Congress" to consider for appeals and reliefs towards Great Britain.

The Quartering Act was made as protection services increased. The Act had let British Soldiers stay in homes as they were required to be given food and shelter. The colonists would end up resisting this act.

The Townshed acts were made to apeal to the people in Britain as they complained of the high tax so they decieded to tax the colonists even more which would reduce British tax. The Act had made it so that there was more taxes on importations which increased the tax. The colonists decided to only use products local to them.

The Boston Massacre was an event where British troops stationed in Boston but due to a singluar snowball, this caused the troops to snap back and shoot and kill five people. The Colonists responded with gossip of Great Britain and how they were tyrants.

This Act was made by the British as punishment towards the colonists involed in the boston tea party. The Acts had closed down all docks until all of the tea that was overthrown was fully paid off and restricting town meetings. The colonists had reacted by having the first continental congress to discuss the state of the colonies.
